Role Overview: The Surgical Technologist II plays a crucial role within the healthcare team, providing technical support during the perioperative phase under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established clinical standards of care.

Key Contributions to the Team: · Verifies and prepares necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
· Maintains sterile protocols by scrubbing, gowning, and gloving
· Organizes sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions required for procedures, demonstrating knowledge of surgical processes and patient positioning
· Conducts accurate counts with the circulator prior to the procedure and before the incision is closed.
