About the Role

Kaleidoscope ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in Potomac Falls, VA. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a BCBA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ABA therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to ensure effective therapeutic services.
  • Collaborate with BCBA's onsite to support teams and ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development webinars to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of full-time equivalent experience providing ASD treatment services.
  • CPR certification/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of Safety Care Training.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Reliable means of transportation, if using own vehicle, must have valid state driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Full physical dexterity/agility or ability to independently position self and perform all movements required.
  • Sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members.
  • Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions.
