We develop a blend of customer-facing experiences and foundational systems that are implemented across both hardware and software platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Clarify ambiguity and establish a coherent vision, strategy, and requirements for customer scenarios.
  • Design and oversee mechanisms that guarantee high quality while maintaining speed and scalability.
  • Represent customer perspectives through comprehensive research and align them with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, applied science, and UX/design teams to push the boundaries of innovation.
  • Drive product adoption, engagement, and experimentation.
  • Work closely with various Amazon teams to enhance personalized experiences.

This is a cross-functional product role that spans multiple delivery organizations within a functional product team. This team plays a crucial role in delivering a high-quality Generative AI-based service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of collaborating with scientific and engineering teams to deliver foundational technologies and customer experiences at an elevated quality standard.

A Day in the Life:

Navigate through uncertainty, implement mechanisms, articulate requirements, and engage closely with science, engineering, feature, and UX teams to deliver exceptional, personalized customer experiences.

Your ultimate responsibility is to own the customer experience, with customer satisfaction being the key measure of success. You will interact with scientific and engineering teams daily and provide updates to senior leadership on progress.

This is a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment where resourcefulness and the ability to lead teams with clarity are essential for success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in feature delivery and managing product trade-offs.
  • Experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategies related to a product.
  • Experience in technical product management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Experience working on identity-related products.
