Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pool Beverage Specialist | Full Time to join our esteemed team at Omni Hotels & Resorts.
Recognized among the premier resorts in Texas, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with Omni standards, adapting to the scheduling needs of the establishment.
Deliver exceptional service to guests in a friendly and professional manner, adhering to established service protocols.
Prepare beverages for guests and staff according to standard recipes.
Stay knowledgeable about the beverage menu, including wine selections, glassware, and appropriate garnishes.
Follow the procedures outlined in the employee and bartender manuals. Ensure accurate drink preparation only when orders are placed through the designated system.
Keep the bar area well-stocked and organized, following the side work checklist.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining stock.
Ensure consistency in the presentation and preparation of all beverages.
Be familiar with and adhere to all policies related to local beverage laws.
Maintain cleanliness in the bar area at all times.
Assist in training and orienting new team members.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain current food handling and beverage service certifications.
A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience is required, with prior serving experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests, management, and colleagues, in person and over the phone.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
