Job Overview

Amergis is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' respiratory function and overall health.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine the best course of treatment for patients with lung or breathing disorders.
  • Evaluate patients and perform tests to diagnose respiratory conditions and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide education to patients and families on lung diseases and breathing disorders.
  • Analyze blood and sputum samples to identify underlying respiratory conditions and develop targeted treatment plans.
Requirements
  • A current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration is required for this position.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $100,000, depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and awards and recognition programs.
