About the Job:

  • This role involves managing respiratory/pulmonary equipment and devices, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.

  • The successful candidate will report changes in the patient's respiratory status to the Director/Supervisor of Respiratory Care Services, the nurse primarily responsible for the patient, and the physician, as needed.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required to provide effective interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies.

  • Regularly assessing patients and performing tests and studies when indicated, the Respiratory Therapist will collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate therapy and treatment options.

  • The successful candidate must maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established policies and procedures of the facility.
