**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Professional to join our team as a School Bus Operator Trainer.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

About the Role:

As a Driving Instructor Educator, you will be responsible for training and certifying school bus drivers in accordance with state and federal regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Train and certify school bus drivers to meet state and federal requirements
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance driver knowledge and skills
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate driver performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Collaborate with school administrators and transportation staff to ensure seamless integration of training programs
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry developments to maintain expertise and inform training strategies

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid state school bus driver's certificate, a state school bus driver instructor certificate, and a medical certificate. A Class B driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent are also required. A K4 driver history record from the Department of Motor Vehicles and proof of HS graduation are necessary for consideration.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
