Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sprinkler Inspector to join our team at Insight Global. As a Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Test and maintain low voltage equipment, including wiring and associated devices.
  • Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices.
  • Follow and maintain a structured inspection schedule.
  • Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation using a laptop computer.
  • Make minor repairs and programming changes under authorized supervision.
  • Complete assigned inspections on time.
Requirements
  • Documented experience in sprinkler systems.
  • Able to obtain and retain required licenses.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
  • Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying equipment up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends.
  • Willing to travel out of town.
  • Demonstrate high level of customer service.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements.
