Key Responsibilities
- Verify, dispense, and monitor medication therapy to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Provide on-site and remote drug information services to support patient care.
- Supervise and direct support personnel to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Participate in medication use performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Serve as a resource for pharmacy policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PhD) degree from an accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
- Current pharmacist license from the state of Illinois, with the ability to obtain a New Mexico license within 90 days of hire.
- Health-system pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
Work Environment
Our pharmacy team operates on a 7 on/7 off overnight schedule, providing a unique opportunity for work-life balance.
