Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Building Blocks Therapy. As an ABA Therapist (RBT), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

About the Role
  • Implement technical practices of applied behavior analysis, including discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, social skills development, and running behavior intervention plans.
  • Work in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio with children, ranging in age from 18 months - 12 years.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including BCBAs, school staff, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Responsibilities
  • General upkeep of client materials, including organizing and creating new resources as needed.
  • Provide compassionate care and respond to challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as psychology, sociology, or early childhood education.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or school setting.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and its principles.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.

This role is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours of work per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
