EquipmentShare is actively seeking a Telematics Technician to support our operations. This role offers an hourly wage of up to $28.00/hour, depending on experience, with eligibility for overtime as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Install telematics systems and devices on various vehicles and heavy machinery.
- Efficiently remove and replace ignition systems using our specialized keypad and controller, ensuring seamless communication between the keypad and telematics systems.
- Navigate a range of installation scenarios, from basic setups (power, ignition, ground) to more intricate configurations requiring custom wiring harnesses for CAN network access.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, gather relevant information, and develop alternative solutions as needed.
- Occasionally travel to client locations or various rental yards for installation tasks.
- Represent the EquipmentShare brand and solutions while performing duties in the field.

Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Trade School Certificate preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and mechanical inclination are essential.
- Experience in related fields such as electrical work, HVAC, or car audio installation is beneficial.
- Previous telematics experience is not required; training will be provided.
- Must possess personal tools; some specialized tools will be supplied.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are crucial.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius of the local branch.
- Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend as required.
