Position Overview
EquipmentShare is actively seeking a Telematics Installer to support our operations in the Minneapolis, MN area. This role offers an hourly wage of up to $28.00, depending on experience, with opportunities for overtime as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute the installation and maintenance of our telematics systems and devices on various vehicles and heavy machinery.
- Skillfully remove and replace ignition systems using our proprietary keypad and controller, ensuring seamless communication between the keypad and telematics systems.
- Navigate a range of installation scenarios, from straightforward (power, ignition, ground) to intricate setups that may require custom wiring harnesses for accessing the CAN network of vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, collect and analyze data, and devise alternative solutions when needed.
- Occasionally travel to client locations or different EquipmentShare rental facilities for installation tasks.
- Represent the EquipmentShare platform and brand positively while performing duties in the field.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Trade School Certificate preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools.

- Experience in related fields such as electrical work, HVAC, or car audio installation is beneficial.
- Previous telematics experience is not required; we offer training.
- Must possess personal tools; some specialized tools will be provided.
