Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Christus Health. As an LPN in our clinic, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, adhering to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic patient care duties, including vital sign collection, patient weighing, and specimen collection, as well as assist providers with examination and treatment of patients.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist providers with patient-related calls, as well as schedule test appointments, results, and pre-certification.
- Administer medications and immunizations according to provider order, and maintain accurate documentation of patient information.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including chart location, filing, and completion of routine forms.
- Attend required meetings and in-service training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- CERT
- LPN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS
