Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our care team at Aperion Care Midlothian, providing exceptional support to our residents in all aspects of daily living. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with meal service and nourishment, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Provide personal hygiene support, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety and comfort.
  • Monitor vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information to maintain accurate resident records.
  • Provide comfort and support to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Document actions and observations, maintaining accurate and confidential resident records.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role require the ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 100 pounds. Visual and auditory abilities must be sufficient for written and verbal communication. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
