Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a healthcare setting. As a CNA, you will assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide food and drink services to residents
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with behavior management and socialization
  • Participate in activities and events to promote resident engagement
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred
Physical Demands

The Certified Nursing Assistant must be able to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods. They must also be able to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
