Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Reef Technology Inc. in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of employees with responsibilities such as training, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, and general staff management
  • Ensure that we provide the BEST in customer service standards and monitor the resolution of customer issues
  • Maintain an excellent level of client relations by responding and handling client requests and/or issues in a timely fashion to ensure client satisfaction
  • Financial Reporting and Investigation Reporting
  • Communicate pertinent company policies and operational procedures necessary to maximize employee performance
  • Procure materials and supplies necessary for maintaining optimal job performance
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to guarantee facility safety and security and to maintain proper revenue control
  • Provide effective leadership and communicate the vision and goals of the organization

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Valet (Bellman) and client relations experience
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or service industry. Parking industry experience preferred
  • Experience driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Vehicle knowledge and insurance claims experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems within tight deadlines
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
  • Team work skills and if you are able to work under pressure
  • A Class 5 Drivers License
  • A Clean Drivers Abstract

Physical Demands

  • Move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
  • Occasionally position self in order to perform maintenance and repair tasks by bending or stooping
  • Perform maintenance tasks by occasionally climbing and reaching
  • Occasionally lift and carry maintenance equipment and machinery, up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift. Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
