Career Overview
">We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Trinity Health in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a three-surgeon practice, eight APPs, four CVOR specialized anesthesiologists, and four perfusionists in a dedicated floor.
Surgical Responsibilities
">The surgical APP will be responsible for first assisting in all cardiac and thoracic operations, managing the CVICU, and step-down unit. They will also participate in the STS Registry and contribute to our quality and outcomes improvement program.
Requirements and Qualifications
">A current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho, valid controlled substance registration, and Board of Pharmacy and DEA certification are required. Vein harvest experience is also necessary.
