Job DescriptionSharetec is seeking a skilled Training Specialist to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional learning experiences in the credit union and financial services sector.

We are looking for a talented individual to design and implement cutting-edge virtual learning programs tailored for credit unions. As a Training Specialist at Sharetec, you will play a pivotal role in creating and facilitating engaging workshops that empower users to master our software solutions.


Your primary responsibility will be to craft interactive training materials, including online tutorials and reference guides, ensuring that our users and internal team members acquire the necessary skills for efficient software utilization and installation.


This position is located in either Fort Wayne, Indiana or Waco, Texas. Remote work is possible for the right candidate who has extensive training experience. This is a full-time, exempt position with a competitive salary and benefits package.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive credit union software training programs and materials
  • Create comprehensive training manuals, reference guides, and virtual learning tutorials
  • Conduct software training workshops and seminars, emphasizing financial services applications
  • Deliver impactful presentations for credit union software training sessions, incorporating virtual learning technologies
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of credit union software training materials and programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain credit union software training materials
  • Monitor and assess credit union software training effectiveness through data analysis
  • Employ diverse software training delivery methods, including virtual learning platforms
  • Provide expert advice on credit union software training best practices
  • Proactively troubleshoot software training issues and provide effective resolutions
  • Update existing training materials to align with the latest technology and virtual learning trends
  • Monitor and report on credit union software training metrics


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and/or instructional design
  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum design, and instructional techniques
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful training programs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to analyze data to measure training effectiveness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, eLearning software, and other web-based tools


Travel
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally.
  • Capability to perform overnight travel in up to 1-week increments, as sales demand requires.
