Job Description:We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) within our Acquired Brain Injury Program.
Job Summary:As an ILST, you will work one-on-one with individuals in our community to help them improve their ability to live independently. You will provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization in accordance with the client's service plan.
Responsibilities:- Provide personalized support to individuals with acquired brain injuries to help them develop independent living skills
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, household management, and personal care
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and events
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years' experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries (or 1 year experience with a bachelor's degree)
- Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.00
