Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the store operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
- Customer Focus: Foster a culture of customer-centricity, ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable.
- Financial Management: Analyze financial data to maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships with local community partners to support the Meijer brand and promote our values.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience.
- 5+ years of retail/service industry experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, including management of leaders with direct reports.
- Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
- Experience in leading retail or service operations with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue.
