Job SummaryWe're seeking a Mechatronics Systems Design Engineer to design complex semiconductor equipment and metrology solutions for our customers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work independently on data collection, analysis, calibration, and writing scripts using Python or Matlab.
Responsibilities- Design prototypes, deploy mechatronics, and perform first principal analysis for sizing components.
- Assist the program manager with inputs to the program schedules and evaluate skills requirements and material cost.
- Participate in establishing a roadmap for next-generation electro-mechanical systems.
- Work independently on data collection, analysis, calibration, and writing scripts using Python or Matlab.
- Perform hands-on work with hardware and gather vital data in the lab or cleanroom.
- Define plans for system integration, testing, and solving.
We're looking for a PhD with 1+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor product development. You should have a strong understanding of feedback control system design, system identification, signal processing, and its application to control and characterize mechanical systems.
