Community Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Director to join our team at Quality Management Group. As a Community Director, you will be responsible for leading the overall administration, compliance, and maintenance of our properties, while striving to maintain 100% occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the overall administration, compliance, and maintenance of the property
  • Ensuring resident files and Yardi data are maintained in accordance with Compliance and Property Management policies and regulations
  • Reviewing, processing, and approving all resident notices pertaining to recertification
  • Maintaining property waiting lists in accordance with the properties' Tenant Selection Plan
  • Ensuring applications for housing are processed in accordance with properties' affordable housing covenants
  • Processing annual re-certifications within established timelines
  • Complying with all aspects of Fair Housing and Harassment Awareness training and protocols in performance of all tasks and assignments

Requirements:

  • Current/previous Section 8 voucher experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Tax Credit
  • Minimum of 2 years or more in a supervisory role overseeing other employees
  • Minimum 2-5 years working in a position with comparable responsibilities
  • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
  • YARDI property management accounting software expertise
  • Formal instruction/designations such as a Certified Occupancy Specialist
  • Financial management
  • Proficient in English language in verbal and written communications and in writing reports
  • Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Internet
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance to operate vehicles for company business
