  • Position Summary
    • The Infusion Center Pharmacist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients receiving treatment in our chemotherapy and ambulatory infusion centers, as well as in inpatient oncology settings. Responsibilities include order verification, supervision of drug compounding (both hazardous and non-hazardous), collaboration with nursing staff and healthcare providers on patient treatment plans, active participation in service line committees, and providing patient education.
  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited institution
      • Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy with completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
    • Experience
      • Required: No prior experience necessary
      • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent residency training
    • Skills
      • No specific skills required
    • Licensure/Certification
      • Required: Must be licensed by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure, with licensure obtained within 90 days of hire.
      • **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of a Pharmacy License application at the time of hire**
      • Medication Therapy Services Certification must be acquired within 90 days of hire.
