  • Position Summary
    • The Infusion Center Pharmacist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in our chemotherapy and ambulatory infusion centers, as well as within inpatient oncology departments. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, overseeing the compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous drugs, collaborating with nursing staff and healthcare providers on patient treatment plans, participating in service line committees, and providing education to patients regarding their therapies.
  • Qualifications
    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited institution
      • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy degree with completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
    • Experience
      • Required: No prior experience necessary
      • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent residency training
    • Skills
      • No specific skills required
    • Licensure/Certification
      • Required: Must be licensed by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure, with licensure obtained within 90 days of hire.
      • **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of a Pharmacy License application at the time of hire**
      • Medication Therapy Services Certification must be achieved within 90 days of hire.
