As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and clinical skills to ensure the success of our programs and the well-being of our patients.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program budgets and recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed staffing decisions and provide input on performance evaluations.
- Design and implement program initiatives within the unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor access indicators and lead utilization management efforts.
- Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to reevaluate and change job descriptions or positions at any time, with notice given to affected employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
Education:
- Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
License, Certification, Registration:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California)
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of state regulations regarding ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- For Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, meet couples and families requirement or complete within two years of hire.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
