### Job Title: Estimator

#### Company: The Contractor Consultants

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Estimator to join our experienced team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed project cost estimates for commercial construction projects.

#### Responsibilities:

* Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
* Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
* Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
* Interface with project managers, design teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment of project specifications and expectations.
* Manage the tender process, including preparing and submitting bid proposals.
* Conduct post-bid analysis and discussions to continuously refine and improve estimating strategies.
* Maintain a comprehensive database of industry trends, pricing, and regulatory changes that may impact cost estimation.

#### Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a closely related field.
* Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore, as well as MS Office Suite.
* Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, compliance, and regulations.
* Excellent analytical skills with an ability to visualize and understand complex construction projects.
* Strong communication skills to effectively negotiate with suppliers and explain proposals to stakeholders.
* Organizational and time-management skills are essential for managing multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

* 8 hour shift
