The Endocrinology and Metabolism Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performing patient consultations, medical evaluations, and diagnostic tests to identify the causes of endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Developing personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication, lifestyle changes, and hormone therapy
- Conducting follow-up appointments to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Participating in clinical research studies to enhance understanding of endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Staying up-to-date with developments in endocrinology and metabolism
- Providing teaching and training to medical students and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism
- Less than 1 year of work experience
- MD-Physician license from the State Medical Board
- BLS-Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of medical principles and procedures
- Thorough understanding of pharmacological agents
- Effective management of medical staff support activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Interaction with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to plan and accomplish goals
- Computer skills required
