Job Title: Medical Malpractice Attorney

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our team at Downtown Law Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical malpractice law, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients who have been harmed by medical negligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate potential medical malpractice cases to determine their viability.
  • Meet with clients to discuss their cases, provide legal advice, and outline the legal process.
  • Represent clients in court, including conducting trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with current laws and regulations related to medical malpractice.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in personal injury law, with a preference for medical malpractice.
  • License to practice law in Florida.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
  • Familiarity with Florida Circuit Civil Cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and expert witnesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
