Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled OTR Driver to join our team at Reser's Fine Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive commercial trucks to deliver finished and raw foods to customers.
  • Clean, inspect, and service trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Report maintenance and repair requirements to the dispatcher and maintenance team.
  • Obtain customer signatures for goods delivered and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate and complete driving logs and vehicle service and repair status reports.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, maintenance, legal agencies, and office personnel via radio or telephone.
  • Refuel vehicles as needed and apply chains and remove them as required.
  • Sort and segregate products by description and SKU.
  • Complete trip envelopes according to instructions.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of commercial truck driving experience is required.
  • Commercial Driver's License is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Working Conditions
  • Sitting and driving for long periods of time.
  • Driving for up to 11 hours at a time.
  • Able to push/pull 2000 pounds on pallet jack as required.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
  • Able to lift 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Travel up to 90% of the time.
