Job Summary:
VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team in Springfield, MA. As a key member of our hospitalist team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our OB service line.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour shifts, covering emergency GYN cases and first assist procedures
- Collaborate with hospitalists, midwives, and family medicine physicians to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives to drive excellence in OB service line
- Support community practices in meeting patient needs
Program Details:
- Total hospital deliveries (monthly average): 69
- Total hospital deliveries (annual average): 828
- NICU level: III
- Anesthesia: On-call 24/7
- Fetal monitoring system:
- EMR used in hospital: Epic
- Midwives: In-house nights and weekends
Requirements:
- Board certification in OB/GYN
- Current licensure in MA
- Experience in hospital medicine and OB/GYN
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
