We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Technology Solutions team at STAND 8 Technology Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in updating an existing suite of business applications and integrating them into a seamless solution on a modern application stack.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Business Users: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, particularly around APIs, system integrations, data mapping, and data transformations.
- Technical Requirements: Define and manage requirements for building robust enterprise software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Integration Documentation: Write integration and data mapping documentation and event-related workflows to error handling and system communication SOPs.
- User Acceptance Testing: Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs and specifications.
- Functional Support: Provide hands-on functional support and serve as an escalation point for issues related to integration accuracy and proper system communications.
- Agile Methodologies: Utilize Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira to manage user stories and project tasks.
- Data Validation: Run SQL queries to perform data validations and ensure data accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery.
- Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in technical business analysis, with a focus on API integrations, data mapping, and systems integrations.
- Technical Skills: Experience with data mapping tools or Visio or Lucid to visually map out integrations, experience writing technical specs for developers specifically with system integrations, and experience with Salesforce and/or cloud-based (AWS, Azure, Google) application integrations.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the media and entertainment industry, particularly with Film or TV systems, is preferred.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a hybrid model, partially onsite 3 days/week in the Los Angeles area within PST hours.
- Competitive Compensation: The base range for this contract position is $50-$75 per hour, depending on experience.
