As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Wound Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care under the guidance of healthcare providers and the Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include the formulation and execution of personalized nursing care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to proactively assess and address patient needs.
- Utilize foundational nursing principles and basic assessment skills in care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with the defined scope of practice for LPNs at all times.
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland Licensure as an LPN and AHA CPR certification are mandatory.
- Wound Care Certification is required within two years of employment.
- Ostomy Management Specialist certification is necessary within two years of hire, if applicable.
- Certification as a Hyperbaric Technician is required within two years of hire, if applicable.
- Completion of a 40-hour UHMS approved HBOT course is required within one year of hire, if applicable.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
