Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for the Director of Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity in both internal and external discussions.
  • Review and analyze systems engineering acquisition documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), and System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
  • Engage in the development and staffing of reference architecture; facilitate meetings to advance this effort and represent the Architecture lead when necessary.
  • Assess the completeness of technical reviews and documentation, providing constructive feedback on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Variances (RFVs), System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), System Functional Reviews (SFRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Technology Readiness Assessments (TRAs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), System Verification Reviews (SVRs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), and Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
  • Oversee product development while adhering to established risk management processes; actively participate in product-level risk meetings and coordinate O6 level Risk Management Boards.
  • Support technical directors and product lines as necessary.
  • Participate in weekly systems engineering meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Review and provide feedback on systems engineering documentation to support various product lines.
  • Evaluate ECPs and RFVs to identify requirements and associated risks.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.
  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • A Secret level clearance is necessary for this position.
