We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Cyclotron-Support Engineer I to join our team at SOFIE. In this training position, you will have dual responsibilities to the Cyclotron-Support Engineer duties and the Network Operations Group within a SOFIE radiopharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

\u2022 Operate cyclotron(s), radiosynthesizers, and QC equipment per operating procedures.
\u2022 Perform routine, non-routine, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on the cyclotron.
\u2022 Participate in inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting with senior Service personnel.
\u2022 Complete Service tickets, time cards, and expense reports in a timely manner.
\u2022 Maintain a clean, clutter-free work and production area.
\u2022 Aid in the implementation of all approved SOP changes with regards to the production and QC process.
\u2022 Provide operation coverage up to but no more than 50% of your time, when required by schedule for cyclotron, chemistry modules, and QC equipment.
\u2022 Other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

\u2022 Associates Degree in a Technical Discipline preferred or HS diploma with 1-2 years of experience servicing capital equipment required.
\u2022 Knowledge of basic cGMP practices and procedures preferred.
\u2022 Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings preferred.
\u2022 Knowledge of basic electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscope, and antenna analyzers) required.
\u2022 Excellent communication skills, ability to be detail-oriented, and dependability required.
\u2022 Occupational exposure to ionizing radiation required.
\u2022 Experience with Microsoft Suite required.
\u2022 Ability to lift 50 lbs required.
\u2022 Travel: up to 10% required.
