Job Summary:

The Head Women's Soccer Coach is a key member of the coaching team, providing leadership and vision within the Athletics Department. The position is responsible for administering all aspects of the soccer program, including recruiting, scheduling, fundraising, and mentoring student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive soccer program, including scheduling, recruiting, and equipment management.
  • Ensure adherence to all NAIA by-laws and RRAC regulations.
  • Manage the program's budget and staff, coordinate support services, and promote the program through public relations and promotional activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective interactions with the university community, administrators, alumni, and donors.
  • Provide education and support for student-athletes on issues related to gender, ethnic diversity, and sexual orientation.
  • Supervise and mentor coaching assistants as directed and approved by the Director of Athletics.
  • Manage sports camps and clinics, and oversee departmental fund-raising and booster events.
  • Participate in long-range planning and assessment, attend departmental training sessions and meetings, and comply with all departmental policy manuals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Minimum two or more seasons of successful college coaching experience in women's soccer, including recruiting, academic progress, sport-specific training, scheduling, equipment, and facility care.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, public relations and interpersonal skills, and commitment to student learning and success.
  • Ability to abide by NAIA and Conference rules, and possess a valid Driver's license for occasional transportation of student-athletes.

Working Conditions:

  • Position requires travel and working evening and/or weekend hours.
