Job Summary

As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of radiologic technologists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate daily operational functions and workflow to ensure the performance of high-quality exams and treatments.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and utilize the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures and treatments.
  • Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure and treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
Requirements
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry in Radiography (R) required.
  • Registry in Computerized Technology (CT) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting or comparable specialty area as required to meet all Lead competencies at the end of orientation period.
