Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shuttle Driver/CDL to join our team at FedEx. As a Shuttle Driver/CDL, you will be responsible for performing shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle, loading and unloading aircraft/vehicles, and sorting packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a non-articulated vehicle to transport packages and personnel
  • Load and unload aircraft/vehicles, and sort packages
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training
  • Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned
  • Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
  • Ability to work with power and hand tools
  • Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • FMCSA covered safety-sensitive position
  • Medical exam required
  • Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids
Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Rate of Pay is $21.27 (Pay Range is $21.27 - $31.25)

Additional Details: Tuesday - Saturday 4:30 AM - 9:30 AM.
