Key Responsibilities- Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify parts or machines requiring new or replacement parts, and implement repairs or replacements as needed.
- Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments with accuracy and precision.
- Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery, and communicate effectively with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time and resources.
- Minimum 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and processes.
- General mathematical ability required to perform job duties.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
- Ability to work assigned days/shifts, including some weekends.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
