We are currently looking for a Senior Registered Veterinary Technician to become an integral part of our expanding team. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of care and supporting our mission.

As a Senior RVT, you will have the opportunity to mentor and train fellow team members while assisting the hospital manager with various responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in professional communication with clients, gathering medical histories and presenting symptoms.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecal analysis.
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging while ensuring the safety of staff members.
  • Utilize nursing skills such as patient restraint, medication administration (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandage application, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Exhibit proficiency in dental prophylaxis.

Position Requirements:

  • Certification or Licensure as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or eligibility to transfer credentials.
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
