Senior Scheduler Job Description

Parsons Corporation is seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Scheduler to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in working on one of the premier infrastructure projects in the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed engineering and construction critical path method (CPM) baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Resource and cost loading of project baseline schedules, including developing baseline and updated cashflow charts.
  • Update and maintain project schedules at regular intervals, identifying and recording the impact of work performed or not performed as scheduled.
  • Support management through preparation and maintenance of forecasts and schedules.
  • Interface with other departments to provide scheduling and cost data for items such as sub-contract change requests and bid comparisons.
  • May provide supervision and on-the-job training to clerical and entry-level professional personnel.
  • Develop preliminary and detailed schedules for estimates and work to be bid.
  • Change orders and claims management.
  • Coordination with project teams to analyze delays and impacts and assist in the development of recovery schedules.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field, or 20 years of construction scheduling experience.
  • Experience with self-performing construction activities for heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Mastery of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6).
  • Change orders and claims management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good attention to detail and strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience performing or leading project controls for mid to large capital construction projects, programs, and/or portfolios.
  • Valid Driver's License and authorization to work in the United States.
