Key Responsibilities- Operate shuttle buses in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering directions to passengers.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors.
- Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers as needed.
- Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate with the garage office regarding any issues or concerns.
- Substitute for Cashiers or Valets as needed, if authorized.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the area, including major streets, landmarks, and freeways, to assist customers.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
- Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
- Neat and clean appearance, with a complete uniform at all times.
