Key Responsibilities- Business Requirements Analysis: Comprehend, analyze, and convey business requirements to align with store systems, order management, and customer experience (CX) product owners and development teams.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with key business stakeholders to offer recommendations and suggestions for optimizing business processes and applications in store operations, omnichannel, and CX space.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather, define, analyze, and validate business requirements and business rules, scope, functional, non-functional requirements, source to target mappings, and user acceptance criteria to ensure the fulfillment of business needs.
- User Experience Design: Define user personas, journey maps, business process maps, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Product Roadmap Development: Work with product owners to formulate and prioritize user stories for a given initiative and participate in all related ceremonies.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress by tracking key milestones, phases, and elements within a given sprint and recommend iteration deliveries.
- Change Impact Analysis: Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream implications of proposed changes to accurately assess impacts on surrounding systems.
- Test Strategy Development: Actively participate in defining test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders.
- 10+ years of prior experience with store operations, POS, payments, and retail store systems.
- 10+ years of experience enabling omnichannel experience for retailers and working with leading order management solutions.
- Experience with end-to-end implementation of POS, self-checkout, store inventory, labor management, and preferably shrink management.
- Experience with some of the leading store solutions such as Oracle, Aptos, GK POS, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
- Experience with some of the leading OMS solutions such as IBM, Manhattan, etc.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without close supervision or guidance.
- Demonstrated creative and innovative 'out of the box' thinking.
- Proven ability to establish relationships and build strong credibility with business teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners.
- Forward-thinking and resourceful to ensure all initiatives are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on delivering information concisely to multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Thrives in a challenging and continuously evolving IT environment.
- Some travel will be required.
