Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide direct patient care, manage patient relationships, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment as a Family Medicine Physician.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
- Take part in providing on-call coverage for hospital services.
- Train and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, Medical Staff Bylaws, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- As appropriate to the position, participate in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs.
- Work willingly and accepts assignments as given.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and programs.
- Participate in opportunities that enhance personal and professional growth.
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
- Comply with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, regulations, and Standards of Conduct relating to the position and agrees to report any suspected violations of law or Standards of Conduct.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe work environment using safe work practices, utilizing standard precautions and complying with hazardous waste procedures at all times as described in St. Anthony's Safety Manual.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient, resident, employee, and organizational information.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO medical program.
- Graduate of a Family Medicine Residency program.
- Fellowship training in obstetrical care preferred, but not required.
- Basic and Advanced Life Support for adults.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
