Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough analysis of loan applications, including financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and regulations.
- Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with loan applications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, brokers, and other industry professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of underwriting policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior analysts and underwriters.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the underwriting team.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting or a related field.
