Job Description
In scenarios involving intricate challenges, support may extend beyond the technical acumen of standard roles. To address these complexities, a recognized expert in a specific domain may be necessary. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) embody the pinnacle of proficiency in their designated fields, offering advanced issue resolution and strategic recommendations to achieve optimal program outcomes. Areas of specialized expertise may encompass, but are not limited to, financial analysis, engineering, environmental science, climatology, biology, archaeology, architecture, and historic preservation. The utilization of the Subject Matter Expert classification necessitates a defined task requirement, with associated costs proposed and negotiated as needed.

Qualifications
• Advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.) in agriculture, agronomy, animal science, plant science, environmental science, economics, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in your specialization, showcasing expertise and achievements in research, policy analysis, program management, or technical assistance.
• Profound knowledge of agricultural systems, practices, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and training initiatives.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and relevant software tools.
• Commitment to the mission and values of promoting agricultural sustainability, food security, and rural prosperity.
