We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
- Clean and bandage wounds, and provide IV therapy as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including the organization and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
- Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a valid RN license.
- At least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIH.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
