Job Summary

As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure, including handling and disposing of instruments and supplies.
  • Transport patients to and from surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the successful completion of procedures.
Requirements
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
