Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Welcome Desk Associate at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our members, guests, and community, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the Welcome Desk, handling point of sales transactions, membership inquiries, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless communication and a positive experience for our members and guests.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and point of sales systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
