Job Title: UX Researcher, Quantitative

Meta is seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher, Quantitative to join our team. As a key member of our UX Research team, you will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics and develop strategies to address them.
  • Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, advocating for the people who could use our products and services.
  • Design and execute studies that address both user behavior and attitudes, using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize research plans through ambiguous and fast-changing environments, aligning and efficiently executing critical insights and working with a large group of stakeholders.
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways, using data visualization and other techniques to bring insights to life.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing to generate insights that fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, and/or product research and development, or a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience coding with R, SQL, STATA, SPSS, or equivalent, and applying statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, ANOVA, and T-Tests.
  • Interest in and experience executing hands-on, primary research, and translating research findings into strategic narratives.
  • Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development, and a degree in a human behavior-related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
