Role Summary:
This position requires a CDL License and involves the safe operation of a roll-off truck for the delivery of waste containers to various clients in the Atlanta region. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and utilizing dispatch and mobile applications for efficient route planning. The role also entails loading and unloading containers at designated locations and transporting waste materials to appropriate facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a roll-off truck in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Inspect containers for any damage before and after use.
  • Load and unload various sizes of containers (20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard).
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, with at least 1 year of experience operating roll-off trucks.
  • Valid CDL Class B license for the State of Georgia.
  • Clean driving record is required.
  • Proficient in operating roll-off container trucks.
  • Strong safety awareness while driving and handling equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic familiarity with smartphones and computers.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
